About The Position

Mentimeter is an engagement tool that transforms presentations into conversations through real-time interactivity and clear visualizations, aiming to make participation, engagement, and productivity more valuable and memorable. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will generate new business by qualifying leads and driving outbound campaigns, focusing on developing qualified leads for Account Executives and Relationship Managers. This role offers the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of successful SaaS sales and contribute to Mentimeter's ambition of helping over a billion people listen, learn, and work better together. The ideal candidate will have high energy, an entrepreneurial tempo, and the ability to collaborate with marketing and product teams, with a strong focus on business opportunities and sales. You will be instrumental in initiating relationships with large companies, converting them from users to Enterprise customers, and accelerating Mentimeter's rapid growth, which has been largely organic and is currently growing over 10% per month. This is a key role in driving Mentimeter towards a world-leading position.

Requirements

  • Experience ranging from either prospecting leads, cold-calling, qualifying leads, driving entries sales process, closing new business, researching good fit organizations and/or data driven market research
  • Ability and some experience assessing business opportunities using data for informative decision making

  • Experience working as an SDR or BDR in the SaaS industry is a plus but not needed

Responsibilities

  • Qualify leads based on our user, presenter and customer databases
  • Deal with global organizations in over 220 different countries
  • Present and hand-over qualified leads to Account Executives and Relationship Managers
  • Continuously improve the processes, analysis, and tactics used by Mentimeter Sales
  • Prospect and qualify new leads
  • Cold outreach to various prospects via phone, email, or Linkedin
  • Work along side Account Executives to progress leads in the sales cycle and close deals
  • Occasionally run meetings and demos for prospective clients
