About The Position

Casium is seeking a Sales Development Representative focused on the mid-market to join their team. This is an outbound pipeline creation role where the representative will be responsible for consistently creating qualified sales opportunities with mid-market companies. The role involves researching accounts, prospecting across various channels, persistent follow-up, qualifying interest, and finding creative ways to initiate conversations. The Sales Development Representative will work closely with the founder and the broader team.

Requirements

  • Prior 0→1 startup experience is required.
  • Worked at an early-stage company where the brand, processes, and sales infrastructure were still being built.
  • 1–3 years of B2B sales development or business development experience, with meaningful responsibility for creating outbound pipeline.
  • Experience researching accounts, writing outreach, making calls, following up, and turning activity into meetings and qualified opportunities.
  • Tech-savvy, organized, and methodical, with hands-on experience using modern outbound tools.
  • Track record of creating outbound pipeline.
  • Ability to move quickly from idea to execution.
  • Ability to work through blockers independently.
  • Highly resourceful and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Care more about outcomes than activity metrics.
  • Curiosity and the ability to learn quickly.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, HR tech, legal tech, Future of Work, or another complex B2B category.
  • Immigration experience is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Create Qualified Pipeline
  • Build an outbound system using modern tools, including Claude, HubSpot, HeyReach, and Clay.
  • Build outbound pipeline across phone, email, LinkedIn, referrals, events, and other channels.
  • Research accounts and personalize outreach based on relevant context.
  • Consistently turn prospecting activity into qualified sales conversations.
  • Follow up with discipline and persistence.
  • Re-engage prospects when timing changes.
  • Find creative ways into accounts when standard approaches do not work.
  • Run Strong First Conversations
  • Engage People, Talent, HR, Global Mobility, Legal, and other relevant leaders.
  • Understand how prospective customers manage immigration today and where they experience friction.
  • Ask thoughtful questions about priorities, challenges, timing, and current approaches.
  • Qualify whether there is a real opportunity.
  • Bring in the right Casium team members as conversations progress.
  • Learn enough about business immigration to speak credibly about the problems we solve while knowing when legal questions require an attorney.
  • Use Events as a Prospecting Channel
  • Identify relevant prospects before conferences, dinners, and industry events.
  • Create conversations before, during, and after events.
  • Attend selected events with the Casium team.
  • Build genuine relationships rather than simply collecting contacts.
  • Own fast and thoughtful follow-up.
  • Improve the Outbound Motion
  • Test messaging, channels, and prospecting approaches.
  • Use data to understand what is working and what is not.
  • Use AI to improve research, personalization, and productivity.
  • Turn successful experiments into repeatable processes.
  • Maintain strong CRM discipline and pipeline visibility.
