About The Position

We are seeking a Remote Sales Development Representative (1099 Contractor) to prospect into target accounts through various channels, research companies and buyers, qualify leads, and book discovery meetings for Account Executives. The role involves hitting monthly and quarterly targets for meetings booked and pipeline generated, maintaining accurate CRM records, collaborating with Marketing on campaigns, and testing new outreach approaches. This is a remote, contract position requiring self-motivation and strong organizational skills.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in sales development, business development or inside sales in tech or SaaS.
• A track record of meeting or exceeding activity and pipeline targets.
• Confidence on the phone and strong written communication.
• Comfort using a CRM and sales engagement tools to manage outreach and track activity.
• Self-motivated and able to manage your own schedule and workload without day-to-day supervision.
• Comfort with rejection, a high volume of outreach and a fast-moving environment.
• Strong organization and time management across many accounts at once.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prospect into target accounts through cold calls, email, LinkedIn and multi-touch sequences.
• Research companies and buyers to find the right decision-makers and tailor outreach.
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads against our qualification criteria.
• Book qualified discovery meetings for Account Executives and hand off with clear context.
• Hit monthly and quarterly targets for meetings booked and pipeline generated.
• Keep CRM records accurate and up to date, logging every activity and next step.
• Work with Marketing on campaigns and share feedback on messaging and lead quality.
• Test new outreach approaches and share what works with the team.
