About The Position

We're hiring an SDR to help build Augment's outbound engine. This isn't a seat-warming role where someone hands you a script; you'll be working alongside experienced sales leadership to architect the prospecting motion, build sequences, test messaging, and generate pipeline for Enterprise AEs. You'll own outbound across cold calls, email, LinkedIn, and video. This is an early hire on a fast-growing sales team. The path to AE is real, but we need someone who's locked in on the SDR craft right now and wants to prove it.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of SDR, BDR, or outbound sales development experience with a focus on upper mid-market or enterprise accounts — you've prospected into large organizations, not just SMBs
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Hands-on experience with modern prospecting tools: CRM (HubSpot or Salesforce), sequencing platforms (Outreach, SalesLoft, Apollo, or similar), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, video prospecting tools (Vidyard, Loom, or similar)
  • You can build a multi-touch outbound sequence from scratch and explain why each step is there
  • Strong written and verbal communication — your cold emails sound like a human wrote them
  • Comfortable on the phone, not rattled by rejection, and you bounce back fast
  • Self-motivated and organized — you manage your own pipeline
  • Excited about working in a 0-to-1 environment with limited structure and a lot of room to build

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in logistics, freight brokerage, or supply chain
  • Time at an early-stage startup or high-growth SaaS company
  • You already use AI tools in your workflow

Responsibilities

  • Own multi-touch outbound prospecting across cold calls, email, LinkedIn, and video targeting
  • Research target accounts and write personalized outreach for logistics and freight decision-makers
  • Qualify inbound leads and MQLs from marketing campaigns alongside the marketing team
  • Build and refine outbound sequences, A/B test messaging, and help shape the playbook as we scale
  • Book meetings that actually convert for Account Executives — and hit your pipeline targets
  • Keep your activity data clean in HubSpot
  • Share what's working and what's not. You're helping build this function, not just executing it
