About The Position

Postmedia is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for a 15-month contract, full-time, permanent position. This is a remote role based in Toronto, ON. The SDR will be responsible for creating qualified opportunities for Account Executives by initiating conversations, opening doors, and generating leads using AI-powered tools and proprietary data. This role is not a call-center position and offers a clear path for career growth within the company.

  • Experience with AI, CRM, and data analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review prioritized accounts and leads surfaced by AI and marketing to identify key contacts.
  • Conduct highly personalized outreach via phone, video, email, and LinkedIn, utilizing first-party audience and market data.
  • Engage in short, focused business discussions with prospects to uncover marketing needs, qualify fit, and schedule meetings for Account Executives.
  • Review and send AI-generated summaries and next steps following outreach.
  • Analyze AI-driven insights from calls, including messaging effectiveness, objection patterns, and talk ratios, for skill development.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and target new prospects based on data and successful strategies.
