Under the direction of the Sales Development Manager, the Sales Development Representative will contribute to the expansion of our customer base, ensuring the success of sales and business strategies. This role is instrumental in our growth journey and supporting our sales team with inbound opportunities, proactively engaging with interested clients, and conducting other lead-generation activities at a high volume to drive interest and increase revenue. ImageTrend sales team members follow a well-defined methodology, collaborate with internal stakeholders, qualify the prospective client’s unique needs, and clearly convey the value of the ImageTrend solutions. Reps can grow their SaaS sales careers, contribute to team success and make a positive community impact.

Requirements

  • College-level coursework or professional certification in business, marketing, communications or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal, and the ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders and decision makers
  • Displays positive attitude, confidence and resilience when faced with obstacles and performing repetitive tasks
  • Ability to quickly identify suitability based on standard parameters and guidelines provided
  • Strong technical aptitude to learn new systems and exposure to MS Office Suite, CRM, Hubspot or other similar sales technologies tools
  • Proven to be a motivated self-starter and work independently within a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment
  • Time management and organizational skills, the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment and can adjust and adapt to changing priorities
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to maintain discretion when handling proprietary and confidential information
  • Enthusiasm for learning and expanding knowledge or skills
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, collaboration and team orientation
  • Ability to travel as required, up to 10%

Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed all sales quota and required activity goals or other metrics as stipulated in the Sales Compensation Plan incentive agreement
  • Uncover needs and qualify inbound leads from marketing or other sources and ensure successful pass off to the appropriate team member
  • Conduct market research to discover and identify potential client accounts or contacts and add them into the CRM system, making sure to validate against any duplicates and following all standard internal procedures
  • Refine and adapt value propositions as company, industry, competition or sales practices change
  • Track and report all activities, maintaining accurate records of interactions in Salesforce, or other required systems, and provide insights to help improve outreach efforts
  • Act as a company ambassador with high integrity and professionalism to support lead development and strengthen relationships with ImageTrend clients, prospects, partners, and other external audiences
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, colleagues, and all other external or internal stakeholders to identify sales opportunities, retain clients, escalate issues to appropriate teams, and share best practices
  • Attend and actively participate in meetings, including but not limited to recurring team meetings, trainings and 1:1’s with leadership, territory or pipeline reviews, Community Updates, Product or cross-functional updates and other meetings as required
  • Adhere to departmental standards, workflows, SLA’s and other metrics or processes as required
  • Travel to orientation, industry or company events, or other onsite meetings as required
  • Perform additional duties or tasks as assigned
