About The Position

Pomelo Care is seeking an exceptional and experienced Sales Development Representative to join its growing employer sales team. This role offers the opportunity to partner with Pomelo’s most strategic and tenured Account Executives to drive leads with large and jumbo employers. The position reports to the Sales Development Manager and is open to candidates located in the continental US.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of highly successful outbound sales development or lead generation experience, preferably within SaaS, with a proven track record of exceeding quotas.
  • Ability to craft persuasive emails and engaging LinkedIn messages and phone conversations.
  • An achieving, results-driven mindset with the ability to thrive autonomously and manage time to have the highest impact.
  • Experience with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other tools to build target account and contact lists and conduct personalized outreach at scale.
  • A passion for Pomelo Care’s mission to transform maternal and infant health outcomes by providing personalized, accessible, and virtual care to address the high rates of maternal mortality and morbidity in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Generating high quality net new opportunities by proactively identifying and engaging with high-potential accounts through strategic cold calling, personalized email sequences, and targeted social selling.
  • Delivering value-driven messaging that engages and entices prospects.
  • Working closely with Account Executives and marketing to formulate personalized messaging and collateral that effectively communicates the Pomelo Care value.
  • Securing meetings with employer buyers at all levels, from C-suite executives to benefits leaders, using creativity and persistence.
  • Developing tracking and reporting dashboards in Salesforce and regularly reporting progress to Sales leadership.
  • Consistently hitting daily, weekly, and monthly lead generation targets.
  • Traveling as needed for conferences.
