About The Position

Sweep is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) based in Denver, CO. This role is tasked with generating sales opportunities for account executives by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential prospects. The goal is to contribute to Sweep becoming a high-growth company by onboarding companies ready to create a better future. Sweep specializes in mapping climate and ESG data across businesses to reduce carbon emissions, improve social and environmental performance, and generate audit-ready reports for sustainability programs. Sweep empowers companies to build resilience to global challenges using technology. The ideal candidate is at the beginning of their sales career, ambitious, and excited by the challenge of opening doors. They should be highly organized, eager to learn, and bring great energy and curiosity to prospect interactions.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to develop a consultative sales approach
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Openness to integrating AI tools into daily work
  • Curiosity, a willingness to experiment, and the desire to use AI as a true partner in your work
  • Openness to hands-on experimentation with AI tools

Nice To Haves

  • Some exposure to software-as-a-service environments, ideally in a B2B context
  • Knowledge of CSR or climate change is a clear plus
  • Familiarity with AI tools

Responsibilities

  • Mapping accounts with the right personas under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Managing and maintaining data on prospective clients in the CRM (Salesforce).
  • Supporting prospecting campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Reaching out to prospects using all relevant channels, with a skew towards cold calling.
  • Learning and applying the right messaging to trigger meaningful conversations.
  • Executing multi-threaded outbound campaigns with well-crafted follow-up sequences.
  • Reporting on campaign results and sharing observations to help improve conversion rates.
  • Making sure prospects fit our Ideal Customer Profile.
  • Highlighting Sweep's value proposition to raise interest and generate curiosity.
  • Qualifying business opportunities and booking meetings with Account Executives.
  • Ensuring all communications are logged accurately in the CRM.
