About The Position

We are seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive InBody’s growth and success. You will prospect, qualify, and nurture leads through the sales pipeline, ensuring a seamless handoff to the sales closers. You will research and engage with potential customers, manage and qualify leads in the CRM, collaborate with sales and marketing teams, build strong relationships, and present product value while staying updated on industry trends and continuously honing your sales skills. The ideal candidate is driven to meet sales targets, build network, and grow the business. This role will be based in our Jersey City, NJ office.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to handle rejection and maintain high daily call volume (100+/day)
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Zoho) and proficiency in using sales productivity tools.
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting and qualifying leads, resulting in successful handoffs to the sales closing team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including persuasive negotiation, public speaking, and presentations
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Travel (up to 40%) for business trips and tradeshows as needed
  • Ability to lift 65lbs

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify and target potential customers within the defined market segment. Utilize various channels, including email, phone calls, social media, and networking events, to engage with prospects and generate new leads.
  • Communicate with leads to understand their needs, pain points, and challenges. Assess their level of interest and qualification to determine their potential as a valuable customer.
  • Effectively manage and organize leads in the CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information. Progress leads through the sales funnel, qualifying them for handover to the sales closing team.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and share valuable insights gathered from interactions with prospects. Contribute to the development of effective sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with prospects, understanding their needs and providing relevant information about our offerings. Showcase the value of our products/services and highlight their potential impact on the prospect’s business.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitive landscape to enhance your sales skills and knowledge. Participate in training sessions to improve prospecting and qualifying techniques.
