About The Position

Nexis Solutions, part of LexisNexis and RELX, provides customers with market-leading data through scalable solutions like the Nexis® research platform. This role is within the dynamic New Business team, seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive new business through inbound and outbound strategies. The SDR will identify key decision makers, nurture relationships, and generate qualified sales opportunities. This position is ideal for individuals aiming for advancement into higher-level sales roles within 6-12 months. Requirements

  • Prior experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or inside sales is preferred
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a professional and clear telephone manner
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and LinkedIn
  • Highly competitive, self-motivated, adaptable and organized with effective time management skills
  • Ability to utilize company systems and tools to manage customer data
  • Ability to follow defined processes meticulously while maintaining a detail-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

  • Managing inbound lead qualification
  • Managing outbound sales campaigns targeting designated prospect lists through strategic calling, emailing, and online research
  • Leveraging inbound marketing efforts to identify and qualify new business opportunities
  • Building relationships with key decision makers to establish a network of prospective clients
  • Working closely with sales teams to schedule and secure qualified appointments
