About The Position

Natural Elements Painting & Repair (NEPR) is seeking a Sales Developer to join their growing sales team. This role focuses on building trust, solving customer problems, and creating long-term partnerships, primarily within the commercial sector. The Sales Developer will be responsible for developing new commercial relationships, helping customers find the right solutions, and contributing to the company's growth. NEPR emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and a supportive team environment. The ideal candidate is energized by meeting new people, uncovering opportunities, and building genuine relationships, with a focus on prospecting, estimating, and client management.

  • Has a valid driver's license and is comfortable traveling locally for meetings, site visits, and opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop accurate estimates and proposals for commercial and residential painting, basic carpentry, waterproofing, and related repair projects.
  • Review project details, site conditions, material pricing, production requirements, and other information needed to prepare estimates.
  • Conduct site visits and bid meetings to understand customer needs and project requirements.
  • Follow NEPR's estimating processes, pricing models, and procedures to support profitable projects.
  • Present solutions clearly and help customers understand the value of working with NEPR.
  • Follow up on proposals and maintain responsive communication throughout the sales process.
  • Develop relationships with property owners, property managers, facility managers, general contractors, and other decision-makers.
  • Research potential opportunities and identify businesses that may benefit from NEPR's services.
  • Create outreach plans using phone calls, emails, networking, referrals, and site visits.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up until opportunities move forward, are determined not to be a fit, or have a future follow-up plan.
  • Maintain accurate lead, prospect, customer, and opportunity information in Pipedrive.
  • Keep active opportunities updated with clear next steps and scheduled follow-ups.
  • Document customer needs, feedback, concerns, project timing, and sales information.
  • Track sales activity, proposal results, wins, losses, and key performance indicators.
  • Participate in sales meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
