About The Position

This internship offers the opportunity to work on various projects within the sales desk, including analytical analysis, operations, marketing, client service, compliance, business development, investment research, and operational/database management. Interns will have access to senior management and will be required to prepare and deliver a final PowerPoint presentation at the end of the internship period.

Requirements

Experience in use of word processing, spreadsheet, query and reporting tools such as Microsoft Access and/or Crystal Reports.
Proven strong organizational skills.
Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Word & Excel.
Proven ability to work independently and a self-starter.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple deadlines and prioritize projects.

Entering senior year of bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

Conduct representative harvesting for CRM clean-up, including CRD information, phone numbers, and email addresses.
Perform representative merging within the CRM system.
Assign representatives to specific groups based on portfolios purchased and W&SFGD sponsored events for targeted campaigning and tracking.
Analyze the efficiencies and inefficiencies of a wholesaling team's engagement with financial advisors.
Identify trends in wholesaler activity, including activity counts, types, and frequency.
Participate as part of the testing team for CRM enhancements, identifying bugs and errors.
Analyze competitive data, administration system assignments/clean-up, and update spreadsheets for internal use.
Engage in product training and learn the proper profiling of advisors and positioning of products and services.
Shadow an internal wholesaler.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Comply with all policies and standards.
