Furniture Fair is hiring a Sales & Design Representative in Florence, Kentucky. With 12 locations and growing, we serve the Dayton and Cincinnati Ohio Regions, Northern Kentucky, Louisville, KY, Clarksville, IN, and Indianapolis, IN. This role is for individuals who love finding the perfect piece to complete a room, enjoy working with clients to create spaces they love, and are passionate about home design. At Furniture Fair, we aim to make home design effortless, empowering, and accessible for everyone by designing real spaces for real people. Requirements
- Great style: Ability to use design skills to help customers solve interior design challenges.
- People skills: Enjoy helping people, building relationships, and sharing knowledge of design and style.
- Great communicators: Ability to communicate professionally with a great written tone and personality.
- Market Knowledge: Familiarity with product lines across many retail and wholesale home vendors.
- Sales Minded: Experience in sales with the ability to quickly decipher a client's needs and match them with perfect products.
- Ability to perform productive in-home consultations including the ability to accurately measure and assess the client's living space.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Demonstrate excellent clienteling skills.

Responsibilities
- Utilize design expertise to assist clients in one-on-one consultations in-store and in-home regarding the design of their living spaces to drive store sales.
- Perform productive in-home consultations, including accurately measuring and assessing the client's living space.
- Engage clients professionally and personably, demonstrating personal passion for the product.
- Maintain a professional appearance that represents the Furniture Fair brand.
- Create and present design plans based on client's needs, style, preferences, and living space.
- Follow through on product arrivals and set up with each client to ensure a seamless experience.
- Demonstrate excellent clienteling skills, including following up with clients regarding promotions and new product arrivals.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to achieve and exceed established sales and productivity goals.
- Demonstrate superior product knowledge, including features and benefits of the entire design center assortment.
