Part Time Sales Design Consultant
About The Position
The Tile Shop is seeking a Part-Time Sales Design Consultant to work in their showroom. This role involves collaborating with interior designers, homeowners, and trade professionals to provide recommendations that align with space, style, and budget requirements. The goal is to build lasting relationships by exceeding customer expectations. Responsibilities include understanding product installation and usage to educate customers, tracking individual sales goals, managing store orders, providing product updates, and maintaining a professional demeanor. The position offers an hourly wage of $16/hour with the potential for uncapped commissions, working 20-30 hours per week.
Requirements
- Strong work ethic with a drive to exceed expectations

- Work well under high pressure, ability to multi task
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Sense of Design: various styles, colors, and textures
- Basic mathematical and computer skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
Responsibilities
- Work in our Showroom with Interior Designers, Home Owners, and Trade Professionals.
- Provide recommendations to meet space, style, and cost requirements.
- Build lasting relationships by exceeding customer expectations.
- Understand installation and use of all products to educate customers
- Understand and track established individual sales goals
- Track store orders and provide customers with product updates
- Present yourself in a professional manner at all times
- Other duties as assigned
