About The Position

The Lutheran Home Hearthstone Assisted Living is seeking a Sales Counselor to support occupancy growth and guide prospective residents and families through the senior living journey. This full-time leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in relationship-building, enjoys connecting with older adults and families, and has prior Assisted Living experience. If you are passionate about senior living sales and creating meaningful experiences for residents and families, we’d love to meet you.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales, admissions, or senior living experience preferred
  • Assisted Living experience is imperative
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively

Nice To Haves

  • Senior living, healthcare, or hospitality sales experience
  • Experience working with older adults and families
  • Strong presentation and relationship-building abilities
  • Knowledge of senior living operations and services

Responsibilities

  • Conduct sales efforts for Assisted Living services to support occupancy goals
  • Build relationships with prospective residents, families, referral sources, and community partners
  • Provide timely follow-up through calls, tours, appointments, events, and outreach efforts
  • Guide prospects and families through the move-in and transition process
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a positive resident experience
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the CRM system
  • Participate in community events, networking opportunities, and sales initiatives
  • Support lead generation and marketing efforts through outreach and relationship development
  • Assist with residency applications and supporting documentation
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for growth and improved occupancy
  • Participate in evening and weekend events or on-call coverage as needed
