About The Position

We are seeking an energetic, relationship-driven AL/MC Senior Living Sales Counselor to join our Sales & Marketing team. This role is responsible for guiding prospective residents and families through the decision-making process, conducting tours, following up on inquiries, and meeting occupancy goals. The ideal candidate is warm, engaging, organized, and passionate about helping seniors find the right living environment.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in senior living sales, hospitality, real estate, healthcare admissions, or related field preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Ability to connect with seniors and families with empathy, patience, and professionalism.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Sherpa, Yardi, MatrixCare) a plus.
  • Self-motivated with exceptional follow-up and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work some evenings/weekends as needed for events or tours.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to inquiries and maintain consistent, professional follow-up.
  • Conduct engaging, informative community tours that highlight lifestyle, amenities, and services.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective residents, families, referral sources, and the local community.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the CRM system, including leads, tours, follow-ups, and conversions.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly occupancy and sales goals.
  • Participate in community outreach, networking events, and internal marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director, Executive Director, and interdisciplinary team to ensure a smooth move-in process.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of senior living options, pricing structures, and eligibility requirements.
