About The Position

This role involves supporting sales efforts by conducting outside calls, promoting the hotel, maintaining office space, assisting with business plans, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing a professional image, adhering to company policies, and possessing in-depth knowledge of the hotel and its surroundings.

Requirements

Professional appearance, dress, and behavior.
Knowledgeable of hotel property, amenities, area attractions, and transportation.
Ability to follow company policies and procedures and department SOPs.
Ability to respond and interact with guests and clients in a friendly manner and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
Ability to conduct tours of hotel and banquet facilities.
Ability to assist Director of Sales in the development and update of the hotel-level business plan.
Ability to regulate copying and distribution of department's correspondence.
Ability to maintain a professional and upkept office space for clients.
Ability to travel and visit local properties and vendors for outside calls, hotel promotion, and competition review.

Responsibilities

Conduct meaningful and holistic tours of hotel and banquet facilities.
Assist Director of Sales in the development and update of the hotel-level business plan.
Respond and interact with guests and clients in a friendly manner. Follow up to ensure satisfaction.
Always provide a professional image through appearance, dress, and behavior.
Follow company policies and procedures and department SOP’s and effectively communicate them to others.
Knowledgeable of hotel property, amenities, area attractions, and transportation.
Support all Hotels and/or Company initiated Guest and Associate Programs (i.e., Catch me at my Best, Ollie Awards, Heart of the House Olympics, etc.).
