A division of the Jim Pattison Group, the Jim Pattison Auto Group was founded in 1961 by Jimmy Pattison, when he purchased a GM franchise. Today, the Jim Pattison Auto Group encompasses 28 locations across Western Canada, representing 16 automotive brands. Learn more about us here: https://www.jpautogroup.com/dealership/about.htm As a Product Advisor, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the entire vehicle purchase journey, while delivering a premium customer experience aligned with the Hyundai brand. Success in this role comes from consistent effort, strong follow up habits, and the ability to build trust with customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Eligible to obtain a VSA license.
  • Must be available all days of the week, including evenings and weekends. Shifts will average 40 hours per week.
  • Strong work ethic with a high level of energy and motivation to succeed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer focused mindset with the ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi task and follow up consistently.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast paced sales environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous sales or customer service experience is a strong asset, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist customers in a professional and engaging manner, both in store and through phone and online inquiries.
  • Build rapport with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable vehicle options.
  • Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives.
  • Present pricing, financing options, and assist in structuring deals in collaboration with management.
  • Maintain accurate and consistent follow up using CRM tools to manage leads and customer relationships.
  • Coordinate vehicle deliveries and ensure a seamless handover experience.
  • Continuously develop product knowledge and stay up to date on OEM features, technology, and market trends.
  • Contribute to team success by maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
