About The Position

Floor Coverings International is seeking a Sales Consultant to join their team. This role involves helping homeowners select and purchase flooring, bringing the showroom experience directly to the customer's home via a Mobile Flooring Showroom. The position focuses on building trust, guiding customers through design choices, recommending solutions based on style, function, and budget, and closing sales. The consultant will manage proposals, follow-ups, and project details, and partner with the installation team. Building a referral pipeline through satisfied customers is also a key aspect of the role.

Requirements

• 2+ years of sales experience in flooring, interior design, or construction
• Natural ability to build trust quickly with strong communication skills
• Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable owning your schedule
• Tech-comfortable and independent
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Running in-home design consultations
• Building genuine trust with homeowners
• Guiding homeowners to the right flooring choice
