About The Position
Smart Honda of Des Moines, part of the family-owned Gurley Leep Automotive Family, is looking for a motivated Sales Specialist to join our team. If you enjoy building relationships, helping people, and earning based on your performance, this is a great opportunity to build a career in automotive sales.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior sales experience, retail preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, consultative, and communication skills
- Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable and clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Build genuine relationships and guide customers through a no-haggle buying experience
- Listen to customer needs and recommend vehicles that fit their lifestyle and budget
- Explain payment options and help customers make confident purchase decisions
- Provide an exceptional experience from the first interaction through delivery
- Follow up after the sale to build long-term customer loyalty
- Connect customers with our Service Department for their ongoing vehicle needs
