Capitol Acura, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is seeking Sales Associates to deliver extraordinary customer experiences. • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
• Ability to understand and follow work rules and procedures
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
• Ability to interact well with others and be a positive influence on morale of department, dealership and organization
• No prior experience or training is required
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid Driver's License
• Driving Record that meets insurance requirements and company policy
• Current and active Sales License, in states where applicable

Nice To Haves

• One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure our customers have a world-class car-buying experience at every step along their sales journey
• Provide an unparalleled level of knowledge, expertise, and authenticity to help customers find the vehicle they're looking for
• Strive to grow the dealership and your career by hitting challenging monthly goals
• Bring new business to the dealership through referrals, networking, and repeat business
• Establish personal sales goals and implement a plan of action to achieve goals
• Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that impact retail automotive sales
• Process data and organize it for management analysis
• Assist in cleaning vehicles from snow if applicable to the local climate (during winter months)
