About The Position

The Sales Consultant at 525 Technologies drives new customer acquisition and revenue growth by developing strong relationships, understanding customer needs, and positioning our technology solutions effectively. This role combines consultative selling, product expertise, and strategic account development to achieve sales targets and expand market presence. 525 Technologies ownership comes from a technical and problem-solving background. The founding ideas and principles are centered around the understanding, helping, and supporting customers with technical needs. Years in the making, we finally launched on May 25, hence the “525”. 525’s goal is exceeding the needs of our customers. We do this by making their processes more efficient and cost-effective. Our solutions, products, and services are strategically designed to go above and beyond our mission statement, “Making technology simple”.

Requirements

  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to build credibility and rapport with prospects and customers
  • Goal-driven and self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling IT, cloud, cybersecurity, or managed services
  • CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies (Challenger, SPIN, MEDDICC, etc.)
  • Customer-centric mindset with problem solving and critical thinking
  • Resilience and ability to handle objections
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Team player with a collaborative spirit

Responsibilities

  • Prospect & Qualify Leads: Identify, research, and qualify new business opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, and marketing-generated leads.
  • Consultative Selling: Engage prospects to uncover business challenges, understand their technical needs, and present tailored 525 Technologies solutions.
  • Sales Presentations & Demos: Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations that articulate the value and ROI of our offerings.
  • Proposal & Contract Management: Develop proposals, prepare quotes, negotiate terms, and close contracts in alignment with company pricing and policies.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships; ensure customer satisfaction and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • CRM & Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and timely entries in the CRM system, track opportunities, and forecast sales.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with marketing, technical teams, and leadership to refine messaging, support proposals, and deliver seamless handoffs to implementation teams.
  • Market & Competitive Insight: Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and customer needs to inform strategy and positioning.
