About The Position
We are growing our Sales Team in Liverpool and looking for a Sales Consultant to join one of our top-performing showrooms. We are seeking an individual who can make customers feel comfortable, listened to, and excited about their purchase. While interior design or lifelong sales experience is not required, confidence in connecting with people, a drive to succeed, and a genuine interest in helping customers create their ideal home are essential. This role also involves learning and becoming an expert on the new Ashley Luxe collection, an elevated line of furniture and décor, and introducing it to the community. Success in this role extends beyond a single product line.
Requirements
- Sales or customer-facing experience is a plus, but we’ll teach you the furniture business
- Someone who is confident, personable, and comfortable talking to just about anyone
- A competitive, self-motivated mindset
- Someone who enjoys learning and isn’t afraid to ask questions
- An appreciation for style, design, and creating a great customer experience
- Someone who wants to be part of a team where people genuinely support one another
Responsibilities
- Connect with customers and uncover what they’re looking for
- Recommend products and solutions that fit their style, needs, and budget
- Guide customers through the entire sales process — from first conversation to closing
- Follow up with customers and build relationships that keep them coming back
- Stay knowledgeable about our products, promotions, and new collections
- Work toward individual and team sales goals
