Sales Consultant in Training are responsible for achieving sales objectives, territory management, selling current and new products, promotions, in-store tastings, and servicing accounts. This also includes merchandising activities such as: shelf placement, maintaining cold boxes, building displays and stocking inventories.

  • Work experience in the liquor industry, such as: bartender, wait staff, liquor store experience, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales objectives
  • Territory management
  • Sell current and new products
  • Conduct promotions and in-store tastings
  • Service accounts
  • Perform merchandising activities such as shelf placement, maintaining cold boxes, building displays, and stocking inventories
  • Travel around assigned territory to service accounts
  • Check quantities of goods on display, cold box placements, and in-stock levels
  • Fill shelves from displays and back stock to minimize out-of-stock items
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers
  • Communicate with Sales Representatives regarding changes in buyer’s preferences, out-of-stock inventory, oversight in shelf space, and any concerns/situations encountered
  • Build and develop trust and a strong working relationship with retailers by upholding Johnson Brothers corporate values, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a “can-do” attitude
  • Perform other work-related tasks and special projects as assigned
