Sales Consultant in Training are responsible for achieving sales objectives, territory management, selling current and new products, promotions, in-store tastings, and servicing accounts. This also includes merchandising activities such as: shelf placement, maintaining cold boxes, building displays and stocking inventories.
Requirements
- Goal and results oriented
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritize work

- Professional written and oral communication skills
- Reliable transportation with valid insurance
- Good driving record
- Ability to lift to 50-pound cases, sometimes repeatedly

- Work experience in the liquor industry, such as: bartender, wait staff, liquor store experience, etc.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales objectives
- Territory management
- Sell current and new products
- Conduct promotions and in-store tastings
- Service accounts
- Perform merchandising activities such as shelf placement, maintaining cold boxes, building displays, and stocking inventories
- Travel around assigned territory to service accounts
- Check quantities of goods on display, cold box placements, and in-stock levels
- Fill shelves from displays and back stock to minimize out-of-stock items
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers
- Communicate with Sales Representatives regarding changes in buyer’s preferences, out-of-stock inventory, oversight in shelf space, and any concerns/situations encountered
- Build and develop trust and a strong working relationship with retailers by upholding Johnson Brothers corporate values, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a “can-do” attitude
- Perform other work-related tasks and special projects as assigned
