About The Position

The LRH Sales Operations Lead plays a pivotal role in translating company revenue goals into sales team targets and incentive programs. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Sales Compensation, this position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Finance, Sales, and Human Resources to ensure that sales team goals align with the organization's strategic objectives. The Lead Analyst also drives analysis to monitor overall progress towards company targets, assess sales performance distributions, and provide data-driven recommendations for leadership decision-making. This role presents a unique opportunity for exposure to multiple business disciplines.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field with 8 years of related experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent financial modeling skills
  • Working understanding of financial target setting and sales compensation

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, BW, Hyperion) and/or analytics platforms (e.g., Qlik) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Translates annual financial plan targets for LRH sales teams into individualized quotas for over 1,000 employees
  • Advises sales leadership regarding salesperson quotas and incentive programs including ideation and modeling
  • Reviews revenue and margin results with business partners, comparing actuals versus targets to analyze the cause of variances, identify trends, and signal risks to strategic plans and employee satisfaction
  • Provides the LRH executive team and sales team with reporting on sales quota attainments and trends
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to Sales Leadership to understand key business performance drivers and translate results into clear recommendations
  • Performs ad hoc analysis and financial modeling of incentive plans, special sales programs, and quota revisions as needed
  • Offers thought leadership for implementing new IT capabilities, territory mapping intelligence, and other compensation and quota process improvements
