This position is for a Sales Clerk Leader responsible for the overall operations of a sales department. The role involves welcoming customers, maintaining product knowledge, assisting with merchandise selection, and addressing customer concerns promptly. The Sales Clerk Leader may also be responsible for ordering merchandise, managing stock levels, processing price changes, markdowns, and promotional sets. Communication with HQ staff for special orders and merchandise issues may also be required. Additionally, the role involves assisting with training employees on cash register and front-end duties, providing input on evaluations, operating a cash register, handling financial transactions, preparing and verifying cash receipts, and maintaining cash overage/shortage records. The position requires opening and closing the store, potentially supervising other employees in the absence of management, and adhering to Loss Prevention and safety standards. Weekend work is required.
