About The Position

Sunwing Vacations Group is looking for enthusiastic Sales Centre Agents to join their team. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will help customers book their dream vacations and plan their travel. As one of the first points of contact in customer experience, you will play an important role in creating positive and memorable interactions with customers. The role offers opportunities to develop skills and explore various career paths within Sunwing Vacations Group. The company is open to candidates based in Toronto or Laval (QC).

Requirements

  • Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada (valid visa and work documents, where applicable).
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Able to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • Available to attend the office when required.
  • Ability to learn and use different computer systems.
  • Available to complete 8 weeks of mandatory, paid, full-time training, Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Attendance is required for the entire duration of training, and punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Able to pick up company-provided computer equipment from our Etobicoke (YYZ) or Laval (YUL) office.
  • Access to a high-speed internet connection with a direct connection to a modem and a quiet workspace at home.

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of customer service or sales experience is considered an asset.
  • Previous call center experience is considered an asset.
  • Good knowledge of computer tools, including MS Office, Google Workspace and Outlook.
  • TICO (Ontario) or OPC (Quebec) certification is considered an asset. If you do not currently hold this certification, you may be required to obtain it as part of your employment. Fees are associated with the examination and certification. The company will cover the cost of the first examination attempt; any subsequent attempts will be the responsibility of the employee.

  • Respond efficiently and accurately to calls from travel partners and direct customers.
  • Understand customers' needs, recommend appropriate products and complete bookings.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience with every interaction.
  • Provide clear and professional information while demonstrating active listening and patience.
  • Share customer feedback, trends and suggestions to help continuously improve the customer experience.
  • Learn and effectively use the various systems and tools required to process customer requests.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex situations and customer concerns.
  • Develop strong knowledge of our products and services to confidently answer customer questions.
