About The Position

The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Nashville Downtown is located in downtown Nashville, a five-minute walk from Broadway's honky-tonks and bars. Nearby attractions include Ryman Auditorium, Bridgestone Arena, and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The hotel features live music on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at its Fourth and U restaurant and bar, 343 rooms, a Full-Service Starbucks, and 15,000 sq. ft. of event space. As a Sales Coordinator, the role involves assisting Sales and Catering Managers in all aspects of the sales and service processes, with a focus on achieving and exceeding guest satisfaction.

Requirements

High school diploma or its equivalent
Previous administrative assistance experience in hotels or other offices preferred
Confident utilizing MS outlook, Word, and Excel

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with hotel PMS systems a plus. Examples: OnQ, PEP

Responsibilities

Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness
Manage and prepare proposals and contracts, ensuring accurate processing and distribution to relevant departments
Maintain organized filing systems, log account information, and handle correspondence efficiently to support seamless hotel operation
Resolve issues related to pricing, menu descriptions, banquet facilities, guarantees, and seating chart
Monitor and order necessary office supplies
Conduct site inspections with potential and existing clients, showcasing our exceptional offering
