About The Position

Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach is seeking a Sales & Catering Coordinator to join our talented Sales and Marketing team. The Sales & Catering Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Sales Managers, Catering & Conference Service Managers and Director(s) while being familiar with all aspects of the Sales & Catering process. The Sales Coordinator ensures that the property’s Golden Sales & Catering system meets corporate standards, confirming that all departments using Golden Sales & Catering are following corporate standards.

Requirements

  • College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management
  • Previous experience selling restaurants or catering experience
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Receives and responds to incoming telephone calls in accordance with Four Seasons Standards
  • Prepares accurate written correspondence including letters, contracts, proposals, reports, Banquet Event Orders (BEO), schedule of events, printed menus, and e-mails
  • Maintains information system, which include but are not limited to menu input, average check update, BEO, merge document templates, assigning inquiries in different platforms.
  • Writes and runs reports associated with Sales and Catering needs. (10%)
  • Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
  • Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Maintain an inventory of all standard department supplies and printed materials.
  • In the absence or unavailability of a Sales or Catering Manager, assist clients and seek out solutions to requests in a friendly, caring, and helpful manner.
  • Perform all tasks in the absence of the additional Sales & Catering Coordinator.
