About The Position

We are looking for outgoing, friendly people to assist customers on the sales floor and at checkout. This role also includes an early morning position focused on unloading and merchandising. The job involves working in a fast-paced environment, putting items away, opening boxes, and the ability to lift 30lbs. Associates are expected to be friendly, assist customers with finding items, cutting fabric, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience. Responsibilities include completing truck unloading and merchandise duties, maintaining store recovery standards, helping customers locate products, executing cash handling, engaging customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, educating customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey, assisting with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS), participating in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes, performing merchandise recovery and maintenance, executing Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties, supporting shrink and safety programs, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs, and interacting with others in an accepting and respectful manner. Team members may also be cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Outgoing and friendly demeanor.
Ability to lift 30lbs.
Ability to read and put merchandise away according to the system.
Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
Ability to move throughout the store.
Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.
Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Perform merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the merchandise return/go-back process and general store recovery.
Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner.
Remain positive and respectful, even in difficult situations.

Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
