About The Position

The Business Development Manager is connected to the Office-Based Labs (OBL) and Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC) market to help drive our sales and grow the business. The Business Development Manager will assist with new clients and build solid relationships with them while maintaining existing relationships. Other duties will include supporting the sales team on new business models, developing business strategies and pitches, managing a variety of projects, and identifying new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience including a successful track record in customer relationship and account management within the industry segment.
  • BA or BS in Business or similar field, or equivalent education/experience.
  • Proven selling and customer relationship management skills with the ability to navigate a complex sales process to include stakeholders / partners.
  • Strong clinical and technical knowledge, with the confidence to knowledgably engage key stakeholders such as physicians, clinical staff, nurses, department managers and supply chain to present value proposition.
  • Professional presence that influences desired results with both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and respond to job, environmental, and industry changes.
  • Must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Sales position.
  • Ability to travel 70% in the states of: MN, MI, WI, ND, SD, MT, WY, NE, KS, MO, IL – Upper Midwest.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.
  • Must reside in or within commuting distance to: Chicago, Minneapolis, St. Louis, Omaha, Kansas City, Des Moines area.
