About The Position

Join the Crew at Sea Bags! Sea Bags, the original maker of one-of-a-kind totes, handbags, and accessories crafted in the USA from recycled sailboat sails, is looking for Sales Associates who are friendly, outgoing, and love connecting with both locals and visitors. This is a unique opportunity at our Flagship store, helping us bring the Sea Bags experience to life for both local customers and visitors from around the world! This is a temporary position available from August through December 2026, with the chance for regular, year-round employment. If you enjoy meeting new people, appreciate quality products and handmade craftsmanship, and thrive in a busy retail environment, we'd love to meet you!

Requirements

• A customer-focused mindset with a passion for engaging with people.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn and articulate company history and product details.
• Comfort using a point-of-sale system and iPad.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
• A team player with a can-do attitude who’s willing to jump in and support as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including occasional longer shifts based on business needs.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a customer-facing role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service while sharing the Sea Bags brand story.
• Engage customers with product knowledge and recommendations.
• Assist with daily store operations, including sales transactions and merchandising.
• Work collaboratively with the team to create a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience.
