About The Position

DTLR is seeking dedicated employees to join their team to help customers have the best experience possible every time they enter a DTLR store. The Part-Time Sales Associate is expected to drive selling efforts and customer relationships by excelling in customer service and selling techniques. This role is responsible for performing all daily store functions including product merchandising, product sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. The most important aspects of the position are customer service, sales, and teamwork.

Requirements

Previous work experience in retail or customer service is preferred, but not necessary.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Excellent command of the English language to effectively communicate with management, customers, and other employees.
Basic fashion and style trend knowledge.
Desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
Problem-solving abilities.
Analytical abilities.
Detail orientation.
Flexibility.
Communication skills.
Interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service, accurate inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift, carry, push/pull up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Drive selling efforts and customer relationships by excelling in customer service and selling techniques.
Perform all daily store functions including product merchandising, product sales, customer relations, and store maintenance.
Display basic fashion and trend knowledge and satisfy customer needs by selling appropriate merchandise while maintaining DTLR standards and building relationships.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Present a positive, energetic, outgoing impression to each customer while demonstrating a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward job and company.
Comply with all company policies.
Embrace service training and product programs.
Ensure all visual standards are followed, daily restock is completed, and adequate size runs are represented per visual directions.
Assist in eliminating both employee and customer theft.
Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
Assist with keeping the store organized as directed by store management.
Perform other duties as may be assigned.
