About The Position

Haven Hospice is seeking a dependable Attic Sales Associate for the Haven Attic Resale Store in Lake City, Florida. The associate provides customer service to shoppers and donors while supporting store operations, including transactions, merchandise rotation, pricing, stocking, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. The role is full-time, with a schedule described as various Monday through Saturday shifts between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., with flexibility for weekends.

Haven Hospice provides hospice services tailored to the needs of patients and families. It is an affiliate of Adoration Health and describes its work as focused on quality patient care and supporting its agency leadership and teams. This position is subject to a level 2 background screening.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience, preferably as a cashier in apparel or thrift/consignment.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately, including cash, checks, gift certificates, traveler’s checks, coupons, and refunds.
• Use suggestive selling and other techniques to enhance customers’ shopping experience.
• Assist with product rotation, pricing, stocking, and merchandising to keep the sales floor organized and appealing.
• Keep the checkout area clean, stocked, and safe.
• Answer phones, provide donation information, and schedule donation pickups as needed.
• Greet and assist donors, accept donations, and provide appropriate tax forms.
• Identify and recommend improvements to store operations or customer service processes.
