About The Position

The Sales Associate helps make LensCrafters a premier destination for vision needs by ensuring patients and customers receive a high-quality eye care and eyewear experience. The role supports store sales objectives, helps customers choose frames and vision solutions, and contributes to an organized, inclusive, and professional store environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators, along with basic phone and math skills.
Ability to embrace new technology and change with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to sell using sales skills, take accountability for sales results, and work toward goals.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Self-motivation and demonstrated ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver sales plans and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
Use optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
Assist patients with frame selection and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers choose appropriate vision solutions.
Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
Contribute to a positive store environment and foster professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
Maintain the appearance of the store and keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
Support an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
