About The Position

As a Car Salesman at Cloninger Ford Toyota, you will play a pivotal role in helping customers find the perfect vehicle. You will provide exceptional customer service, demonstrate vehicles, and close sales while fostering long-term relationships with clients.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing customer needs.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

A degree in business or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience in automotive sales or retail sales is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, understanding their needs and preferences.
Maintain an in-depth understanding of the dealership’s inventory, including specifications, features, and benefits of each vehicle.
Guide customers through the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to final paperwork, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives, showcasing key features and advantages that meet customer needs.
Negotiate prices and financing options, providing transparent information to customers while achieving dealership sales goals.
Proactively follow up with potential and existing customers to nurture relationships, address any concerns, and encourage repeat business.
Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.
Collaborate with finance, service, and other dealership departments to ensure a smooth customer experience.
