About The Position

Mercedes-Benz of Tacoma is seeking Sales Associates who are serious about building a long-term career in automotive sales and are motivated by performance-based income. This role is best suited for individuals who are consistent, coachable, and comfortable working in a structured sales process with high customer engagement. No automotive experience is required, but professionalism and strong follow-through are essential.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience
  • Available to work flexible hours & weekends.
  • Ready to hit the ground running on learning new product ins & outs.
  • Effective communication skills
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
  • Basic mathematical aptitude
  • Ability to apply and understand reasoning.
  • Clean driving record, with valid driver license.
  • Willing to submit to a background check & drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Retail, hospitality, or sales experience preferred
  • Previous automotive sales experience is preferred, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Work leads from showroom, internet, and phone sources
  • Present and demonstrate luxury vehicles professionally
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with customers and prospects
  • Guide buyers through the full sales process
  • Build repeat and referral business
