About The Position

NORMAN’S, an employee-owned Hallmark Gold Crown retailer, is hiring a part-time Sales Associate for its Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley location in Center Valley, Pennsylvania. Sales Associates help customers commemorate special occasions, find comfort during challenging times, and celebrate everyday moments. They contribute to store goals and provide customers with a memorable, genuine experience by creating a caring atmosphere and serving as an accessible source of product knowledge on the sales floor. The role calls for initiative, teamwork, and excellence throughout the customer experience.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets business needs, including events, holidays, evenings, and weekends.
• Strong aptitude for basic math, including percentages and general arithmetic.
• Ability to continuously stand and walk; frequently push and pull; occasionally bend, stoop, crawl, reach above the shoulders, kneel, climb a ladder, and carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Use the Customer CARE program to connect genuinely with customers, build relationships, and drive retail sales.
• Put the customer first in every interaction.
• Consistently meet store-specific Crown Rewards enrollment goals.
• Learn and efficiently use the register system to provide a pleasant point-of-sale experience; maintain cash register accuracy.
• Use selling skills during customer interactions to build sales and customer satisfaction.
• Learn product knowledge for all merchandise and use it when assisting customers.
• Maintain and restock displays as directed by store management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
