About The Position

The Sales Associate provides quality customer service and drives product sales. The role requires knowledge of each product area or department, adherence to company policies and visual standards, and promotion of sales and special offers. As an ambassador for the organization and brand, the Sales Associate helps create a distinctive customer experience and acquire and retain customers. This part-time position is based at the Hallcrest Plaza store in Dickson, Tennessee, and reports to the Store Manager.

Requirements

0–2 years of customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks accurately.
Team player passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service, including greeting and assisting customers and serving multiple customers during peak periods.
Promote and sell the organization's services and merchandise.
Set goals to improve selling skills and track sales.
Follow company policies, procedures, and standards in the operations, personnel, visual, and customer service manuals, as well as company memos.
Assist with daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup lists, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
Present merchandise to promote and sell products, using guidance from the product knowledge manual.
Meet or exceed sales targets and goals.
Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management.
Attend all store staff meetings and tech clinics.
Protect company assets and financial information by following internal control procedures and reporting potential fraud risks to management or appropriate officials.
