About The Position

Strip District Tees is hiring a Sales Associate to help support daily operations, deliver outstanding customer service, and keep our store running smoothly in the heart of Pittsburgh’s Strip District. As a Sales Associate, you’ll set the tone on the sales floor, support your teammates, and help create a fun, high‑energy environment for customers and staff. Located at the iconic corner of 20th & Penn, Strip District Tees is part of the GPSA Group, a local leader in decorated apparel. The Sales Associate role is a strong stepping stone toward future leadership opportunities. The Sales Associate position is ideal for someone who enjoys a retail environment, loves interacting with customers, and wants to grow into future leadership roles. As part of the GPSA Group, you’ll have opportunities for ongoing development and advancement within store operations.

Requirements

Strong communication skills and a confident, outgoing personality
1–2 years of retail experience preferred
Detail‑oriented with a growth mindset
Comfortable using a basic POS system
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs
Must be at least 18 years old

Nice To Haves

Leadership, training, or coaching experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Lead the sales floor and support shift operations
Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customers remain the top priority
Support selling strategies and inventory control
Maintain visual standards, assist with floor moves, and keep displays organized
Help train new team members and model positive, professional behavior
Assist with exchanges, merchandising, and loss prevention
Contribute to a clean, organized, and high‑energy store environment
