About The Position

The Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining customer service as per company standards, generating sales, housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, point of sale operations, processing freight, and loss prevention in adherence to all company policies and store standards. This role involves greeting and acknowledging every customer, answering their questions, and helping them find products. The associate will also answer incoming phone calls, maintain radio communication with other associates, and possess comprehensive knowledge of the products sold. Maintaining awareness of product knowledge information and merchandise promotions is key. Additionally, the associate will assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping. Other duties include helping in other departments when needed, performing daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, replacing trash bags, and sweeping, and other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and to shift priorities accordingly.
• Familiar with how to operate a computer system and email.
• Strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Preferably familiar with standard retail concepts and practices.
