Sales Associate Part Time
About The Position
Sun Tan City is looking for enthusiastic and fun employees who are passionate about client service. This role involves sharing ideas and recommendations with teammates and clientele, where hard work is rewarded with bonus and growth opportunities. As a Sales Associate, you will help clients find their glow and grow their confidence by educating them on the best tanning and wellness options. The company is one of the largest family-owned tanning salon chains in the country with approximately 250 salons in 20 states, managing over 350 locations and employing over 2200 individuals.
Requirements
- Basic Computer skills and knowledge.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.
- Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
- Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors.
- Ability to perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.

Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring all clients’ needs are met and they are treated professionally.
- Engage with clients by building good relationships and understanding and meeting their needs.
- Make recommendations for products and services.
- Maintain minimum sales requirements.
- Multi-task, such as cleaning beds as clients leave and engaging new clients upon their arrival.
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness of salon tanning rooms, lobby area, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas.
- Work cohesively with a team in an upbeat and fast-paced salon environment while upholding all company policies and procedures.

- Competitive Pay: Starting at $10.00/hour, with performance bonuses bringing average earnings to $13.00/hour.
