About The Position

As a Sales Associate, you will be the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You will welcome customers, help them find products for babies and young children, and support them through important moments in their parenting journey. You will work in a welcoming and inclusive environment that values and develops employees’ skills and talents. The role involves customer service in a busy retail environment, register transactions, replenishment and shipment tasks, and helping maintain a safe and clean store. Availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Requirements

• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and manage multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel needs to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Minimize store loss through exceptional customer service and by maintaining a safe, clean store.
