About The Position

The Ravinia guest experience is more than the performance on stage. Our beautiful, welcoming park is what makes listening to music at Ravinia truly special, and we’re excited to open our gates to concertgoers. From morning to night, each of our employees contributes to making live music at Ravinia extraordinary. As Ravinia’s Sales Associate, you are responsible for cashiering, promoting sales items, and creating a welcoming customer experience. You will have the opportunity to learn and work in Ravinia’s retail operations. All locations are on festival grounds; two retail shops and pop-up shops (vary by occasion or concert).

Requirements

• High School or equivalent work experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in teams or independently
• Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Available to work evening hours on weekdays and weekends
• All Ravinia employees must be at least 16 years of age

Responsibilities

• Cashiering using a point-of-sale system (NCS CounterPoint)
• Closing report and counting cash drawer at the end of each shift
• Provide excellent customer service and set an example for all staff
• Engage with customers on the sales floor and behind the register
• Clean, organize and restock shop locations daily
• Assist in merchandising stores and displays
