About The Position

Away, launched in 2016, offers a range of luggage and travel essentials, believing that travel enhances individuals. The company fosters a community of travelers, aiming to make travel seamless for everyone. Away is currently seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate for their Seattle, University Village team. The Retail team is dedicated to providing a transformative experience for customers across their seventeen stores, building connections through product education, world-class service, and operational excellence. This role is crucial for the brand's offline presence, fostering a stronger Away community. The ideal candidate will provide best-in-class support to customers from arrival to departure. Part-time employees are required to work at least 16 hours per week, including availability on at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) per week, and must adhere to Away’s Blackout Period expectations. Requirements

You’re an excellent communicator, collaborator, and teammate with a passion for and past experience in retail, customer service, and/or hospitality
You’re reliable, effective, and contribute to the overall business success
You’re resourceful, solution oriented, and committed to achieving your goals
Ability to pull, push, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds throughout the duration of a work shift
Ability to stand/be on feet for extended periods of time throughout the duration of a work shift
Ability to bend, squat, twist, and reach as needed throughout the duration of a work shift
