About The Position
PHOENIX Retail, LLC, the retail platform operating Express and Bonobos, is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for the Express Market Place store. The Sales Associate provides a great in-store shopping experience and supports store operations, including stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise. The role involves maintaining safe, clean, and organized customer and back-of-house areas; following company policies and procedures; and assisting with product launches according to company standard operating procedures. The associate delivers the customer experience model, processes transactions accurately and efficiently, resolves customer service issues or escalates them to Store Management, and promotes credit and loyalty programs by explaining their benefits. Other essential functions may be assigned by a supervisor. The position requires availability that meets company criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours, and the ability to meet the role's physical requirements.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- 0–2 years of relevant job experience; a minimum of 6 months is specified.
- Proficiency with technology, including iPads and registers.
- Availability meeting defined criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
- Ability to meet the position's physical requirements.
- Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, the sales leadership team, and associates.
- Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stock room so the store is safe and inviting to customers.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of associates and customers.
- Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
- Deliver on all aspects of the customer experience model.
- Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
- Positively resolve customer service issues and determine whether to resolve or escalate them; communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
- Explain the benefits of credit and loyalty programs and encourage customers to participate.
- Assist with additional store tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise.
- Perform other essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
