About The Position

Kontoor Brands is hiring a part-time Sales Associate to support sales performance, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and execute day-to-day store operations. The role supports customer engagement strategies and maintains merchandising standards to create a positive in-store experience. The position requires at least 12 hours of availability per week, including one weekend day, and a flexible schedule to meet business needs. Applicants must be at least 16 years old. The Sales Associate provides customer service and product guidance, helps customers in fitting rooms, supports sales and loyalty enrollment goals, and maintains the sales floor. The role also includes assigned opening and closing procedures, transaction and cash handling, loss prevention, and responding to customer or employee injuries. The position involves standing and moving throughout the store, handling merchandise, and performing occasional display assembly or store rearrangement. Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and work a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
Be available for at least 12 hours per week, including one weekend day; additional availability is a plus.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members.
Ability to stand and move throughout the store during scheduled shifts.
Ability to maneuver and/or lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to push and pull full racks of merchandise.
Ability to reach, stretch, bend, stoop, and crouch to retrieve items, restock, and maintain store cleanliness.
Ability to use vision to read labels, assist customers, and perform detail-oriented tasks.
Ability to use fine manipulation and grasp clothing to sort, organize, hang, and fold merchandise.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service in accordance with company standards.
Initiate conversations with customers, learn their interests, and suggest appropriate products.
Assist customers in fitting rooms.
Recommend products that match customer needs and preferences through suggestive selling.
Promote the rewards program and achieve weekly loyalty sign-up goals.
Learn about new products and trends to engage customers effectively.
Meet personal sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
Provide information and advice about product performance, features, and specifications.
Maintain visual merchandising standards and keep the sales floor clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Assist with assigned opening and closing procedures, process transactions accurately, handle cash, and maintain point-of-sale integrity.
Follow company and store policies, processes, and procedures.
Respond promptly to customer or employee injuries and report them to the manager on duty.
Participate in Loss Prevention Audits and follow loss prevention policies to minimize store shrink.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members.
Operate store equipment and technology, including cash registers, computers, phones, and scanners.
Move throughout the store to assist customers, retrieve merchandise, and recover the store.
Lift and carry merchandise, push or pull full merchandise racks, and perform tasks involving reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, and fine hand manipulation.
Occasionally perform manual labor to assemble displays or rearrange the store layout.
