About The Position

Kontoor Brands is seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate for their Greensboro May Korner Sale location. This role is responsible for ensuring excellence in customer service, maintaining store standards, driving sales through suggestive selling, and contributing to overall store performance. The associate will also be involved in visual merchandising, daily store operations, and loss prevention efforts. Kontoor Brands is a portfolio of iconic lifestyle, outdoor, and workwear brands including Wrangler®, Lee®, and Helly Hansen®, focused on driving brand growth and delivering value through a strategic sourcing model and robust supply chain.

Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 16 years of age or older.
  • Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
  • Minimum availability of 12 hours per week including one weekend day.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members.
  • Operate office equipment and technology (i.e., cash register, computers, phones, scanners, etc.).
  • Stand and move throughout the store during scheduled shifts.
  • Walking and moving to assist customers, retrieve merchandise and recover the store.
  • Ability to maneuver and/or lift 25 lbs. regularly, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to push/pull full racks of merchandise for restocking the store.
  • Ability to reach, stretch, bend, stoop, and crouch to retrieve items from shelves, restock, and maintain store cleanliness.
  • Manual labor is required occasionally to assemble displays and/or rearrange the store layout.
  • Vision to accurately read labels, assist customers, and tasks that require attention to detail.
  • Ability to use fine manipulation, and grasp with hands to sort and organize clothing, ex. place on hangers, folding, organize in color/size order.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure excellence in customer service by upholding high retail standards and creating an in-store experience that aligns with company standards.
  • Initiate conversations with customers, build relationships, identify interests, and suggest appropriate products.
  • Assist customers in the fitting room.
  • Recommend products aligned with customer needs and preferences through suggestive selling to encourage purchases.
  • Build brand loyalty by promoting the rewards program and achieving weekly loyalty sign-up goals.
  • Stay informed about new products and trends to better engage customers.
  • Consistently achieve personal sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
  • Provide information and advice on product performance, features, and specifications.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Assist in daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, accurately processing transactions, handling cash, and maintaining point-of-sale integrity.
  • Follow all company and store policies, processes, and procedures.
  • React quickly to all customer and/or employee injuries and report them immediately to the manager on duty.
  • Participate in Loss Prevention Audits and comply with company loss prevention policies to minimize store shrink.
