About The Position
PHOENIX Retail, LLC operates the Express and Bonobos brands. Express is a multichannel apparel brand offering modern, confident, and effortless style through more than 400 retail and outlet stores in the United States and Puerto Rico, its website, and its mobile app. The Sales Associate role is with the Express store at Ontario Mills. The Sales Associate provides customers with a great in-store shopping experience and supports store operations through tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise. The role includes maintaining store areas, processing transactions, assisting customers, and supporting credit and loyalty programs. The position requires availability for nights, weekends, and non-business hours, along with meeting the role’s physical requirements.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of relevant job experience; the posting states 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency using technology such as iPads and registers.
- Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
- Ability to meet the position’s physical requirements.
- Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, the sales leadership team, and associates.
- Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; PHOENIX does not sponsor work visas for this position.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stock room so the store is safe and inviting to customers.
- Follow company policies and procedures to help ensure the safety of associates and customers.
- Assist with product launch changes in accordance with company standard operating procedures.
- Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
- Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
- Resolve customer service issues positively, determine whether to resolve or escalate them, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
- Explain credit and loyalty program benefits and encourage customer participation.
- Perform additional essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
- Assist with stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise.
