About The Position

Under the supervision of the Petals & Twigs Manager, the Sales Associate is
responsible for providing excellent customer service to all customers entering
the store. This includes: greeting customers, guiding them through our products,
answering questions and making sure guests have a pleasant experience. Providing
excellent service helps build retention and increase store revenue.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact professionally with customers and team members
• Basic computer knowledge
• Be able to operate electronic cash register
• Basic math skills
• Be able to lift over 40 pounds from floor to waist unassisted
• Be able to push and pull 75 pounds
• Be able to complete deep knee squats
• Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install computer equipment
• Physical activities that could be used include: balancing, pulling, pushing, standing, climbing, grasping, stooping, crouching, crawling, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and repetitive motion.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to work flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays, when necessary

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Share general information about Trinity Services and its programs.
• Perform daily store operations including, opening the store for business, perform all cash register operations. (Opening, sales and closing), closing the store at the end of the business day
• Maintain knowledge of the store products to assist customers effectively
• Ensure displays are visually appealing and restock items after purchases.
• Keep the store clean and organized, including sweeping or mopping when necessary
• Assist in tracking inventory and ordering of store goods and supplies.
• Promote special sales and offers.
